Donations Galore

I sent out a request a couple of days ago for donations of dance leotards and shoes for those students that are not able to pay for the items.  I don't want there to be any obsticals for those who want to learn to dance.  The respoonse has been so wonderful!  I am making a day of picking up all the items next Thursday.  Kansas City people are so generous.  I am blessed to be living in this area. What other ways can I help those little ones that are not able to dance?  I have to pay my bills and teaching for free would not help me but I strive to provide quality programming for a small amount of money.  I would love your ideas!

  1. I have a billion ideas. I have been in a lot of convenience stores where there was a special jar for all sorts of causes. There are more ways to raise funds for a worthy cause than I can count. Bake sales are great too. I just saw a web site that a lady set up to help her buy pet food for animals she fosters from the shelter. It was chipin or something like that. I think paypal has a donations button you can put on your blog. I could go on and on and I know I would have an idea that would work for you.

  2. I love the ideas you started with. I am going to start with the Pay Pal Button and now have a meeting with the local grocery store based on a bunch of ideas that stemmed from your second sentence! I'll keep everyone up to date on where and how and when and now my brain is going! Thanks!
