Donations Galore
I sent out a request a couple of days ago for donations of dance leotards and shoes for those students that are not able to pay for the items. I don't want there to be any obsticals for those who want to learn to dance. The respoonse has been so wonderful! I am making a day of picking up all the items next Thursday. Kansas City people are so generous. I am blessed to be living in this area. What other ways can I help those little ones that are not able to dance? I have to pay my bills and teaching for free would not help me but I strive to provide quality programming for a small amount of money. I would love your ideas!

Reaching Out
I am super excited to meet the wonderful staff at St. Therese tomorrow! We are going to talk a bit more about the Revolutions On the Move program and how we can partner together to touch the lives of more children. I love having the opportunity to meet others who have the same passions I do. I'll have to fill everyone in on more of what happens in our programs soon. In the mean time, check out my details about the program HERE.

First Day of Classes
So last night was the first official day of dance class at Revolutions Arts Center and it went quite well! My dancers right now are all under the age of 9 and have all had less than 6 months of experience in dance. That's perfect! Get them young and grow them up the right way! I have already been told I'm a little silly with my visuals of dragging your foot through peanut butter in a jazz walk and I got some looks when I introduced my friend King Louis who loves hamburgers with ketchup and mustard. (Its a ballet thing to get them learning diffent arm positions, I swear!) So overall, I would say it was a great night. I'll have to share some pics of first day dancers soon.
